Just Equations executive director Pamela Burdman submitted a letter to the California State University Board of Trustees in support of a proposal to strengthen high school quantitative reasoning preparation without changing admissions requirements. The letter argues that this approach to quantitative reasoning preparation better supports students, particularly those from historically underserved backgrounds, by building math readiness rather than implementing new barriers to college access.
