Just Equations submitted a letter of concern to the CSU Chancellor's Office, addressing the faculty recommendation to increase the math or quantitative reasoning requirement for admissions. While Just Equations supports work to ensure that students have rigorous math experiences in high school and college, changing university admissions requirement may not be the best way to achieve that -- and may exacerbate existing equity gaps.
