Mina Dadgar has over 15 years of experience in higher education research. Her research has focused on designing credentials for economic mobility and studying college math reform, as well as creating inclusive college redesign processes. In 2020, Dadgar founded Education Equity Solutions, with the goal of conducting equity-focused research in higher education and bridging the gap between higher education policy and practice. As the visiting associate vice chancellor for Guided Pathways, she led a team of 18 regional coordinators to support California community colleges in implementing equity-focused reform efforts statewide. Prior to that, she led research projects at the Community College Research Center, WestEd, and the Career Ladders Project. Dadgar’s research has been highlighted by NPR, PBS, the Chronicle of Higher Education, and other news outlets. Dadgar has a doctorate in economics and education from Columbia University. She began her postsecondary journey at Houston Community College in Texas.
